Survey on Sponsored Search Advertising (or Pay-per-click advertising) and Budget Allocation Decisions

Dear Participant,

Researchers at the Department of Information and Technology Management, College of Business at The University of Tampa (Tampa, Florida, USA) are conducting a survey to understand the budget allocation decisions related to sponsored search advertisements. We would like your valuable inputs as a professional involved with sponsored search advertisements. This survey will take approximately 10 minutes to complete. The survey is completely voluntary and you may exit the survey at any time. In the following pages, you will be provided a scenario and will be required to make budget allocation decisions. You will also be asked to provide your responses on a number of statements that reflect your beliefs/perceptions about click fraud. Finally, you will be required to provide some demographic and psychographic information.

This is not a test, and there are no right or wrong answers. We are mainly interested in learning about the beliefs, perceptions, behaviors and the decision making process of the individuals involved in sponsored search advertising.

All answers provided will be kept strictly confidential. The data is collected using the secure socket layer (SSL) protocol to ensure privacy through encryption. Further we will clean the dataset to ensure that the data does not have any information that could be used to identify any participant. The results of the study will be reported in aggregate to maintain participant's privacy. If you have any questions about privacy or other issues, please email at the address listed below. If you agree to participate in this survey, you can proceed to the survey by clicking "Begin Survey” button. You will be re-directed to the survey hosted on surveymonkey.com.

Thank you.
